If you are interested in joining us, contact us about our practice schedule and when and where we are skating! You do not have to own protective gear and rollerkates to come out but initially if you decide to join, it will be necessary. The only thing that is required is you to come out!
Roller derby does require some level of commitment and dedication. Practice is very important! You will get better and better with each practice. However, we do understand that life happens and sometimes so do emergencies so if you are unable to make a practice due to an emergency, it is ok. We won't hound you down.
In roller derby, you will also notice alot of skaters and NSOs (Non-Skating Officials) with some names that are wild and out-there such as Billie Brawliday, Tanya Hyde, Bonnie D. Stroir, and so on. You will be able to choose your own derby moniker and have it registered to the International Derby Roster at www.twoevils.org/rollergirls if it is not registered by another skater from another team. With our team, you are only able to officially register a name after you have attended practices for 2 months.
Currently we practice in Greenville and Rocky Mount. To see when and where we are practicing, contact us as sometimes we are forced to postpone practice to another day due to inclement weather as we skate outdoors during our Greenville practices (not Rocky Mount) and to see when and where we are practicing and the times!
We also practice at the fabulous Star City Skate and Play roller rink in Rocky Mount. We sometimes have carpools for practices to Rocky Mount from Greenville so if you want to come to the rink but don't feel like the drive, contact us!
