We are your hometown rollergirls - the Coastal Plains Derby Dames! We are always recruiting ladies 18 and up to come join us. Roller derby is a fabulous sport with ladies from all walks of life that are involved with the sport and so as such, our team is no different.

 

Roller derby is an incredibly diverse sport with people from different walks of life. Doctors, nurses, teachers, astro-physists, librarians, students, stay-at-home moms, chefs, lawyers, pizza delivery drivers, construction works, clerks, gay, staight, black, white, pink, purple - it is very diverse and our team is no different and we welcome ladies of all backgrounds and diversities and most ages (over 18) to join our team.

 

If you do not know how to skate and are thinking "Wow, I would love to do it but I cannot skate" - oh no, you can and we will show ya how to rock the roll! If it's been a good and long while since you have skated, we'll refresh ya on the basics of skating.

 

If you are interested or if you know some awesome ladies who would be, contact us! We would love to meet ya and have you join the Dames!

 

If you're a guy and you're interested, we're recruiting referees and bench coaches too though there is not an immediate need for refs at the moment. Ladies, you too can also ref and/or coach the Dames!

 

We are based in Greenville, North Carolina and Rocky Mount, North Carolina. In Rocky Mount, we skate at the fabulous Star City Skate & Play roller rink who also just happens to be a wonderful sponsor of our team!

We love to give by to our respective communities via charity and volunteer work and fundraisers. We will have a couple of upcoming benefits for local charities coming up which will be posted on our events page ASAP so stay tuned!
